🇬🇧 As I mentioned in my previous post, I stayed for a week in Zermatt in the winter, so I had a mix of experiences and tasted a bit of everything Zermatt can offer. Now I will share all of it with you.
🇧🇷 A respeito daonde ficar, eu escolheria um local no lado da montanha próximo ao Sunnegga Cable Car. Primeiro porque dalí você tem o melhor acesso às pistas de ski. Segundo porque se você escolher um local um pouco acima do nível da cidade você provavelmente terá vistas do Matterhorn da sua cama. E isso não tem preço. Ou, na verdade… pode custar bastante. Zermatt pode ser bem cara na alta temporada.
🇬🇧 About where to stay, I would stay in the mountain side next to Sunnegga Cable Car. At first because it’s the best way to get up to the mountains. Second, because if you stay a bit up in the mountain you will have Mattherhorn views. And it’s priceless. Or, in fact… it can cost quite a bit! Zermatt can be expensive in high season.
🇧🇷 Nós ficamos no Hotel Alpenhof (link abaixo). Ele oferece uma relação custo-benefício incrível. É lindo, bem localizado logo em frente o Sunnegga Cable Car (teleférico para subir a montanha), a 10 minutos de caminhada do centrinho. O piano bar com sua aconchegante lareira é o ponto de encontro de toda noite. Apenas não espere vistas espetaculares do Matterhorn, pois ele não está encrustado na montanha, fica no nível da vila.
🇬🇧We stayed at Alpenhof because it offers fabulous value for the money. Beautiful hotel, well located just next to Sunnega, about 10 minutes walking from the center. The piano bar with its fireplace is a must every evening. Just don’t expect to have Matterhorn views because it’s not on the mountain, it’s on the center level.

Localizado a 2.222 metros de altitude, esse hotel 5* oferece vistas de tirar o fôlego do Matterhorn num ambiente perfeito em meio à natureza. Acessível somente através do trem Gornegrat, eu recomendaria para pessoas que querem desacelerar e admirar a vista. Para esquiadores, vale dizer que pode-se chegar e sair esquiando.
🇬🇧 Far away from the center, for me it’s the best place in Zermatt for those who want to relax in high style. At 2,222 meters, this 5* hotel has breathtaking Matterhorn views in a perfect ambience in the middle of nature. Reached only by Gornegrat train, I would recommend it for people who want to slow down and admire the view. For skiers, it’s nice to know that it’s ski-in ski-out.
